Sorry for the silence in the blog guys! I have relatives from out of town staying over at the house since the previous weekend. With kids all over the place (all boys!) I barely have time to get online and finish what I need to finish. Boys are a handful aren't they? As much as I adore my nephews, they drive me crazy with their antics. They just won't stay put! I wish there was a remote control for kids that you can just press buttons to make them do what you want them to do.
On top of that, I'm trying to finish 3 back-to-back kits for SOTB, SS and STS. I'm nearly, nearly at my wits' end.
Plus, I had to work on my birthday, which was yesterday (26th), because there was an important activity I had to cover and write about on that day. The news cares not if you're having a birthday.
Anyone out there willing to switch places with me? Please? :-)
Thank you to the 12 party guests who joined DP Game #3! You all gave the correct answer- Play that Funky Music by Wild Cherry. Great to hear too that almost all of you love this song, too! Chris had a grand time reading your email entries (he particularly had a blast reading Pom's email hehe). Whereas I had to beg him to play for that video, now he's helping me in plotting out the next blog games, of course involving him and his guitar. Men!
So, after 'bribing' him with a box of crayons and lots of Juicy Fruit bubble gums, I was able to get one of my nephews still enough to help me out in choosing a winner for Doodly Party's Game #3.
Now that August is almost over, I'll start handing out the digi-doodly-goodie bags in my next post. Stay tuned, folks, as the party is quite not over yet. :-)
Ok, Abet is now bothering me to give him my bribe so we're now off to buy him a box of crayons, and a pack of Juicy Fruit bubble gums!

By the way that's Abet's birthmark on his left arm. We call it his lucky charm.

Well little handsome Abet, your smile is not breaking my heart, but filling it with joy. You'll be happy to know that I disagree with your aunt. I THINK BOYS ARE THE COOLEST! My daughter doesn't like sporty games, climbing trees, nor rides at amusement parks.What gives, how could that be? I miss having boys around, but I still love her. It's just a different slow flow than what I'm used to. You made a great bargain. Juicy Fruit was my favorite gum when I was a kid. Except your lucky, mine wasn't a bubble gum at that time.
