AT LAST! It is with pleasure (and a big sigh of relief) that I announce today the first of my 2 summer-themed kits.
Here’s One Messy Summer: Splash kit
and the alpha (lowercase, a-z only):
This “beachy” version of One Messy Summer kits is crammed with fun items perfect for scrapping your sun, sand and ‘seascapades’! The elements and papers inside would bring lots of splash to your pages.
Summer vacations were always messy for me growing up. Everyone in my Mom’s side of the family gets together for picnics and beach outings. One can always tell when summer has come in our house- kitchen floor strewn with dirty, wet clothes and sand-streaked slippers while we kids were always conspiring to some sort of mischief (I have knee scars to prove them!). Summer sure was messy, but it was loads of fun.
Although the messiness of summer has waned as I got older (I got into various forms of summer mischief of a different kind as I grew older hehe), I still crave for that kind of messy fun when summer is approaching, a longing that I rerouted instead to the making of this kit.
Splash is currently on 50% sale until June 22, so if you want to get this kit crammed with fun elements for a splash of a price (pardon the pun!) hurry and click on the image to be taken to Scrap-Team Shop.
To whet your creative appetites, look at what the talented CT peeps did with Splash (see below). Let me just say that I was blessed to find such a creative bunch of designers who wanted to scrap my designs! You'll see what I mean when you go visit their blogs :-)
PS: And while you’re there, please don’t forget to type out thank you’s to these ladies who spent time and poured in their creative efforts to making these pages. Thank you Joyce, Tam and the charming and very young Shelby!
The link stays up for a week. So run, don’t walk, to download it :-)
Stay tuned for the unveiling of the second, and more messy, One Messy Summer kit and of course, more freebies!
Enjoy the summah ladies (and don’t forget to lather on sunblock lotions!)

Of course, I can’t end this plug of a post without giving away something. Here is a freebie add-on to the One Messy Summer Kit- a set of two textured and very bright papers for your personal use. They are a perfect add-on to the One Messy Summer kit and for scrapping your summer photos:

Hello my little angel! My goodness you have been so busy. I want you to know I LOVE the new kit. It's such a fun and happy kit.
I'm so glad your father is doing well! I know you are probably tired right now but will be over the moon with happiness once you get some good rest.
I guess I'm going to have to break down and use some reader service so I can know when you post to your blog cause I'm late knowing all your news.
Love you little angel!!!1

Hi Rach,
I've been taking a break from scrapping & missed your return. Finding you back has made my day. Just read thru all of your new blog to catch up. Glad things have worked out so well for your dad. The break certainly hasn't hurt your skills -your work is better than ever if possible. I so relate to your earlier feelings (best not talked about here). Love Numbbumm Sue
