...all rolled into one long blog post!
Before I kick off another long post, I'd like to greet all mohers, especially scrapping mamas, a warm Happy Mother's Day! Hope y'all feeling special and proud of yourselves today. Being a mother is, in my opinion, is one of the hardest shoes to fill in, so moms I salute ya!
So, first of all, I was able to finish my first scrapbooking kit for sale! Yay! and Ugh! Yay coz finally, it's done, and ugh because... it feels like how I felt when, fresh from getting out of college, I first submitted a write-up for a local newspaper here. Excited, nervous...all funny inside.
The kit is actually still being QA'd (of course) so it might take a couple of days before it hits the 2 stores where I sell in. However, I prepared a little teaser here.
Sneak peeks:
It's cute and soft and quirky, reminds me of that special woman in my life, the woman who I always strive to make happy. I'll talk about this more when I "unwrap" the kit for you.
Since this is my first attempt at a kit for sale, I'd like to share it with one blessed mom out there. I wish I can give it to all of you (hehe). However, just for joining you get something - or someone - as a token:
It's kinda like a contest, with the following rules:
Write a post/article/write-up answering the question: "WHAT MAKES YOU A WONDER MOM?" then post your answer on your blog, if you have one. You can be as creative as you want in your answers.
Include in your post the ad above (copy and save it to your computer).
After doing this, leave a link to said post (the specific post link address) in your blog in the comments area of this post.
Deadline for posting of your entries and submission of links is on May 15, 2009, 7:00 PM (Philippines time).
Now for those who don't have blogs, of course you can join too! Just email your entries to my addie: doodelle {at} gmail {dot} com.
Remember, no late entries will be accepted. Only those who submitted their entries before the deadline will be eligible for the contest, and receive a digital token for participating.
So what's the token?
My model, her--->
You will get her in greyscale layered .psd and .png format for you to customize and change the color of her clothes, hair, etc. What's more, I can re-do her hairdo to suit your own hairstyle! Contest participants need only to email me the color of their hair and whether their hair is short, curly, or long, shaggy, etc. You can change the color of her skin on your own.
So, what makes you a wonder mom?
For today's freebie, I'm giving away a retro-inspired refrigerator! This is highly inspired by that gorgeous refrigerator in Rachael Ray's show:
Download here sorry, time's up!
It's one refrigerator in layered .psd and a .png sheet. Commercial use ok too!
This one will be disabled after 3 days, so grab this freebie while you can.
Don't forget that contest ladies!
