About a week ago, I felt the need to treat myself. So I went to a salon (where else would women want to get themselves treated really well?) and got a new 'do, then highlights followed by hot oil and greeted myself advance Merry Christmas. As the hairdresser was brushing the color on my hair, I closed my eyes and prayed that I won't regret this the morning after!
I'm a natural curly top. I used to hate my curly mop and when I had my first job, the first thing I spent on on my first payday was to go to a salon and have my hair straightened. This went on and off over the years until about 3 years ago I started learning to love what I've been given.
I guess I grew up.
The hairdresser as he was washing my hair was gushing over my curls and telling me how women would go to the salon and pay to have their hair permed in order to sport curls like mine. I gave him a huge tip afterwards, hehe.
I'm a bit concerned about the color of the highlights as it's too blonde, but Chris said it doesn't really stand out. However, about 2 days ago, someone who I haven't seen for a while walked into the office, saw me and my new hair, and said "Wow you look fiery." Now I don't know if that was good or not, but I don't want to stress over it. This is my hair and I like it.I don't care one iota if the others think it's too fiery. They'll have to deal with it.
On the design front, it's Doodelle Playday over at the Scrapbookgraphics blog. There's a micro mini freebie pack of Blushing Dolls trio that you can grab from the blog. It's from an old kit of mine that I now retired. I recolored the dolls differently for the Playday and added a couple of papers and some flower stamps to go with it.
I'm also sponsoring the Chat and other challenges all week-long and you can win discount coupons to my store. Please visit the Playday blog for more info!
Friendly reminders:
- Studio Doodelle is 20% OFF entire month of December
- Orders 7$ or more from my store for this month will get Something Wonderful for free

Thanks for the cute mini! I ran out of time over the weekend to contribute to the playday, but since you are staying (yeah!) I will have more opportunities to play later. So glad to have you join us at SBG!
