I would like to start this first post after my hiatus by thanking each and every one who took the time to send me their well-wishes for my health via email or by leaving a comment here. Maraming salamat sa inyo. Thank you, very much. Your words were so uplifting, and I feel a lot more blessed for having this tiny nook in cyberspace through which I can communicate with warm, generous souls across the globe.

I would like to hand out a special thank you to TJ for her magical, digital "get well soon" card which she scrapped from one of my kits. Thanks, TJ for your virtual fairy dust! Yes, I'm propping up my feet more often now :-)

Oh and thank you so much to my wonderful MScraps family for their support and understanding. Salamat especially to MScraps owner, Joyce (bless her sweet, sweet soul) for letting me take my much needed time off from designing.

Before I start waxing sentimental here, let me just say that I should have posted here a lot sooner, but it took some time for me to get into that frame of mind where the words would just flow naturally, seamlessly like it used to. After days of not writing- both virtually here in my blog and physically in my journal (yes, I still keep a diary of sorts, a habit I can't break), I was at a loss on what to write and how to say what needed to be said.

So here I am. I'm back! Hopefully a better blogger, designer, person. I'm still on a slew of medicines for two months more before I go back to the doc for tests (to see if the medicines worked) but I'm now starting to pick up where I left off, digital design-wise. I'll start working on a collab that I had to put on hold when I got sick, and from there work on new CU vector packs, and then buckle down to working through a couple of requests to re-release (and revamp) some of my old kits that I retired when I moved to MScraps.

It will however, be a slow process. I am learning how to take things slow (if I want to live long!), break unhealthy habits and develop new healthy ones. That means I won't spend as much time on my computer as I did before. I have taken up new hobbies, such as walking an hour each day after work, reading one book each week, cooking on weekends, painting (I slacked off on this), and spending MORE time with friends and family.

I am also learning not to stress too much about work. Being single, I tended to focus too much on work and didn't mind the long hours, making my work my life. It isn't healthy, as I know now. I need to hit the pause button more often.

If I sound a little off right now, please bear with me. There still are a few loose screws here and there haha.

Ok, no need to drag this post out. Again, thank you to everyone for sticking around! I intend to make this blog a better one for me and for you from now on. :-)

Thank you so much for the mention. I'm estatic that you're feeling better and getting back into the swing of things. At a slow pace though!!! That's a command from not only your doctor and family, but also your cyber buddies. We love you and your talent and we don't want to lose either one, so we'll be here waiting patiently while you enjoy other avenues of your life. I heard on the news that there was a hurrican over there. Hope all is well and not too much destruction. Take great care of yourself!
