...with seemingly endless to-do lists as I
a) prepare for best friend's bridal shower which I will be hosting
b) planning her wedding and DIY-ing almost everything.
c) news coverages
d) and more news assignments
At least the invites are done and they're so pretty! (Of course I should say that because I designed it myself hehe). I'll post a pic here once we start sending them out. Which will happen soon as we settle the envelopes.
You see, we got so carried away with seeing the invites get printed immediately that we overlooked the issue of envelopes. Once all 200 invites have been printed, we realized that there isn't an envelope sold in the local stores that would fit them perfectly.Either they're too big or too small. The formula should have really been like this:
envelope --> design --> print
and not
design --> print --> envelopes
But forget about that- the point of this post is not for me to rant (those will probably come later as I sink even deeper into the wedding planning stuff) but to just let you all know that I won't be designing stuff for my stores effective next week till January.
I'm not so good with multi-tasking and there are only 24 hours in a day. With so much going on in my life right now, I'll hardly have anytime for anything else non-wedding related..Designing for my stores will have to take a backseat as I just want my best friend's wedding to be the best wedding on a budget this city has ever seen. Ambitious, I know, but it's not entirely impossible!
So this also means that the "doodle your name" thing will have to be re-scheduled. I'll probably start this once I survive this wedding. (Now that would make a nice T-shirt statement: "I SURVIVED THIS WEDDING"!)
I do have a couple of Christmas doodles packs for CU and a quick and easy calendar which will hit the stores next week. Those will be my last products for this year (and I say that with much, much sadness).
I'll still be blogging here from time to time, posting pics of wedding stuff as I go along, just to let you know that I'm alive and all that (hehe).
I'd also appreciate your prayers for my Mom who underwent an excision procedure last week. She had this mass in her tummy for 2 months and we decided that she should have it removed because the itching got worse..
We're still waiting for the biopsy results. Please pray that the results will show that there's nothing for us to worry about!
PS- those who left comments in my earlier post, I replied to you ladies in the comment box there. Thanks! I love hearing from you gals :-)

Girl.... I hope all is well with your mom. It is hard to wait and not know.
You have so much going on with you also. Crazy busy girl. Its nice to see you post but dont stress over it. We are all getting busier as the year moves on to the holidays. I actually went over a week without getting on my computer... scary!
I love the new header.... I hope your next tutorial can be on using styles with your doodles. I love those flowers along the butterfly trail.
Take care and keep us updated on your mom!
