The shower is just 3 days away! I'm more nervous than excited, this being my first shower plus I'm hosting it (my first time to host anything). I'm just glad that this is a small group of around 20 ladies. I wish I was buddies with David Tutera- I really can use his service
s right now!

Since the last post, I've been busy with more cutting, printing and gluing. What I want to show off right now are the cupcake wrappers I made:

I printed the wrapper on regular long-sized bondpapers and used an Xacto knife to cut them up. I used Janet P's cupcake wrapper templates that I posted here on my blog not too long ago (Thank you Jan!). Then I trimmed the top using scalloped scissors.

The design is consistent with the patterns I used for the shower invites. I also made tiny flaglets which I will adhere to toothpicks and pierce them on top of the cupcakes. I'll post them here when I'm done making them.

I also made banners that I will clip on to a twine and hang them across the room. I'm holding the shower at a bar in a hotel in the city. Well it used to be a bar but it's now being used for small, private functions. Good thing I know the manager and I was able to get a discount for the rent and corkage fees.

I hope I can post more pics before the shower!

Also, thank you to Christina, Cherbear and Lainey for suggesting names for the cute office cat I talked about in this post. I like Butterscotch too but since I find it too long, I'll go for Butter.

Butter is right now cleaning herself outside the office door, satiated from a hefty lunch of fish and rice I just fed her.

And oh by the way, I'm opening the lines now for my Christmas kit RAK. It's still not done yet, about 80% finished. Here's the initial preview:

I don't know yet how many people I'd like to RAK it to. But if anyone wants to play with it for free (it's S4H-S4O friendly), then sign up via Mister Linky below. (Note: Those who don't have blogs, please leave a comment in this post if you'd like to be included in the giveaway).

The patterned papers for the cupcakes, that's your doodles too? It blows me away, Rach!! Gorgeous!! You're really putting your heart and soul into this, and it shows. Tell the bride she's the most lucky girl to have you.

Love the Christmas kit! Every little thing looks sooooo cute. The tiny sprigs give the perfect touch to it. Great job!! (I put my name in the hat too, I can't help myself. LOL!)
