Man this week has been quite brutal. You know those moments when Murphy's Law just strikes like a sneaky thief in the night? I hate it when everything just doesn't work out according to how I meticulously, thoroughly and painstakingly planned it. Then wham! Bam! Everything goes tumbling down.

I know I'm not making any sense right now, but nothing about my week so far has made sense to me either.

What I need right now is a tall cup of capuccino latte. And a bar of Hershey's dark chocolates. What's the tallest cup Starbucks has to offer? Coz I really need one so badly right now. There's nothing like coffee and dark chocolates to calm a stressed beast! A kiss would do too but that's sorta out of my reach at the moment hehe.

Anyway, I have a new product in store- it's an alpha called Rough Cuts Alpha (Orange). (I know, not a cool name but I'm too grumpy right now to think of a catchy name.) It's an offshoot of the Rough Cuts freebie I released earlier. It's hand-drawn and digitally edited and it's perfect to add a touch of handmade to your designs. It's for personal use but scrap-for-others and scrap-for-hire friendly (you can see the TOU for this on the product page here).

To roadtest the alpha, here's a free wordart cluster freebie I made for you:

It's also S4O/S4H friendly. You can use it when you scrap your summer photos, or greeting cards for friends and families or in your blogs.

In other news, some of you might be wondering what happened to the One Messy Summer Road Trip kit that I promised to release today.

You know those times when you've made or drew something, and you worked so hard on it for hours and when it's done you pretty it up and you put it somewhere you can look at it over and over again. Then time passes by and one day as you walk past it you suddenly stop short, stare hard at your work of art, and in disgust you either grab it and shove it somewhere you can't see it again or you just crumple it up and throw it away.

Yep, that's what happened to Road Trip, I'm afraid. Well, not as extreme as crumpling it up and throwing it away (thank goodness it's digital!) but I'm simply not too fond of it anymore. After spending countless hours and late nights on it, after using up pages and pages of my sketchbook on it, just like that in a snap of a finger I digitally grab it and decide to re-model the entire darn thing. Aargh!

So I'm going to revamp the entire kit and work on breathing a new, and hopefully a more artsy life into it.

Wish me luck! LOTS of luck.

And if someone could buy me the tallest cup of capuccino latte in Starbucks right now and bars of Hershey dark chocolates, I'll gladly give up my firstborn :-)
